Apa itu Minyak Kelapa Dara?

Bagan Datoh telah diterokai lebih seratus tahun yang lalu. Dikenali sebagai ‘Coconut Paradise’. Bagan Datoh terkenal di Malaysia sebagai pembekal kelapa dan produk berasaskan kelapa yang terbesar dan bermutu tinggi di Malaysia.

Terdapat sebanyak 92% asid lemak di dalam Minyak Kelapa Dara adalah dari golongan asid lemak tepu (saturated fat) yang mengandungi 48% asid laurik, 8% asid kaprilik, 7% asid kaprik dan lain-lain asid yang dikategorikan dalam kelompok asid lemak berantai sederhana serta mengandungi unsur tenaga sebanyak 3.76 kalori/gram. Kualiti asid laurik yang terdapat dalam Minyak Kelapa Dara adalah sama dengan kualiti air susu ibu, yang ber- tindak sebagai pencegah segala penyakit. Ia juga mengandungi lain-lain pathogen bagi menguatkan sistem ketahanan tubuh badan.

Hasil kajian yang dijalankan oleh para saintis dari Eropah dan Amerika sejak tahun 1930an, mendapati Minyak Kelapa Dara mempunyai ciri-ciri anti virus dan anti bakteria serta mengandungi antioksida yang kuat bagi memacu metabolisma tubuh. Ia sangat baik dijadikan sebagai makanan kesihatan kerana mempunyai bau serta rasa yang segar.serta bebas dari kandungan kolestrol.

Hasil kajian juga menunjukkan Minyak Kelapa Dara mengandungi tokoferol ( vitamin E ) yang tinggi sebanyak 40mg/kg dan didapati sangat baik untuk melembab menyegarkan kulit seluruh badan.Diproses tanpa penggunaan haba atau bahan kimia dan tidak melalui prose RBD ( Refned, Bleached & Deodorized ) di mana struktur asal dalamamnya dapat dikekalkan seasli-aslinya.

Selamat dimakan menurut senarai Generally Regarded As Safe ( GRAS ) di bawah Pentadbiran Makanan dan Dadah Amerika (USFDA) merupakan sebuah badan paling berpengaruh yang mengawal selia keselamatan makanan dan ubat di Amerika Syarikat.
